Professor Wally Jay has selected the following Soke Dai:
Many martial artists have been wondering why Wally Jay selected several inheritors of the Small Circle JujitsuTM instead of naming his son Leon as his only heir.
Professor Jay writes...
Do we have to follow Japan's tradition of martial arts? I have been considered a rebel but truly I am a realist and a modernist. I had defied the judo and jujitsu traditionalists because I differ from them in belief. I am an American and will always think like one.
I reached this conclusion after seeing the dilemna in the deaths of Ed Parker, Jame Mitose, and William Chow Hoon. Many of their followers claimed that they are the chosen one. I believe that it is best to pick several heirs that are compatible to work together in spreading the gospel of the Small Circle JujitsuTM.
All of my soke dai are well versed on the theory and techniques of Small Circle JujitsuTM. By blending the knowledge of these inheritors, I know that these men will enhance the future of the Small Circle.
