International's 2000 Convention
and Professor Wally Jay's Birthday Banquet!
For the first time in the San Francisco Bay Area, at the Marriott Hotel Small Circle JujitsuTM International will be holding a Martial Arts Convention featuring Professor Wally Jay founder of SCJ, his inheritors and instructors. World class instruction from some of the finest martial artists today, will be a feature of this 3-day event from Friday 16th June - Sunday 18th June 2000. Meet the Masters and celebrate with them Professor Wally Jay's 21st Century Birthday.
This years convention is dedicated to honoring the history of Small Circle Jujitsu in the last century and to jump start a new century with the expansion of Small Circle Jujitsu. As part of honoring the history and past of Small Circle Jujitsu, Professor Jay would like to dedicate this convention to his friend Bruce Lee. Bruce trained with Professor Jay while he was in Oakland, and they quickly became friends. We will be honored to have his wife Linda Lee Caldwell as a guest at our convention and the birthday banquet on Saturday night. This years banquet, "for a change" will be a hawaiian theme, so dress appropriately! It's gonna be fun!
Pohai (Poe haw ee) in Hawaiian means "Circle of friends". Through the leadership of Professor Wally Jay, Small Circle Jujitsu has a reputation for extending the hand of friendship. In these hands on training sessions all are welcome to join in regardless of rank, style or affiliation.
